Data sources

This dashboard holds no prices of its own. Everything shown is fetched live from the two sources below, and this page exists so you can check any figure at its origin rather than taking this site's word for it.

The rules this site follows

One named venue, not a blended index. Crypto prices come from a single exchange that publishes its own order book, so the provenance of a price is one checkable hop rather than an opaque aggregation.
Nothing is estimated or filled in. If a source does not answer, the page says so instead of showing an older number as if it were current.
Every figure is timestamped with when it was fetched or, for exchange rates, which published fix it comes from.

Kraken public market data

These are last-traded prices on one exchange, not a blended global index — so they can differ slightly from prices quoted elsewhere, which is normal and reflects genuinely different order books. Volumes are Kraken's own, not the whole market's.

ECB reference rates via Frankfurter

Reference rates are published once per working day for statistical purposes. They are not live trading rates and not what a bank or exchange bureau will quote you — a real transaction carries a spread on top.

This site presents public market data for information only. It does not recommend buying or selling anything, makes no claim that any price shown is the best available, and should not be used as the basis for a transaction. Cryptocurrency prices in particular are volatile and the figures here can be out of date by up to a minute.

Privacy

No accounts, no cookies, no ads and no third-party trackers. The only measurement is anonymous page-speed data from Vercel Speed Insights, sampled on about one visit in two: load times and the page address, with no cookies and no personal identifier. All upstream data is fetched server-side, so your browser never contacts Kraken or the exchange-rate service directly, and nothing you type into the converter leaves your device.
